Marley Spoon

I took a Berlin meal-kit startup from pre-launch to launch, with the brand, packaging, web and iPhone app, and later joined in-house to help build its design team.

Problem

Marley Spoon was at a really early stage and needed a brand, printed material, packaging and a web and iPhone experience.

What I did

I took care of the brand identity, stationery and packaging, and moved towards UI work for the web platform and the iPhone app.

Result

The startup went from pre-launch to launch. I then joined in-house to help build its design team as it grew to 300,000+ customers across Europe, the US and Australia.

Context & problem

Marley Spoon is a Berlin-based meal-kit startup that delivers recipe boxes with pre-portioned ingredients, so people can cook a proper meal at home without planning or shopping for it first.

Our collaboration started at a really early stage, when the company needed everything at once: an identity, printed material, packaging, and an interface for the web and the iPhone.
