Design Tools Network

Intro: Inspired by our success at the first Sketch hackathon with the winning project, Sketch Runner plugin, we saw an opportunity to catalyze the Berlin design community. As a founder, I spearheaded the creation of the Design Tools Network, a platform dedicated to fostering innovation and collaboration in design tools.

Journey: The triumph at the Sketch hackathon served as a springboard, propelling us to initiate a series of meetups. The enthusiastic reception underscored a clear demand within the community for a collaborative space focused on design tool innovation. Buoyed by this success, we expanded our scope to include full-scale hackathons, creating a vibrant hub for design tool exploration and development.

Impact: The Design Tools Network quickly became a cornerstone of the Berlin design scene, fostering a thriving community of designers passionate about advancing the capabilities of design tools. Through our meetups and hackathons, we’ve cultivated an environment ripe for innovation, collaboration, and discovery.
